Vermentino 並非 Sardinia 專屬
在 Piemonte 她叫 Favorita
在法國南部她叫 Rolle

只是來自 Gallura的Vermentino儼然成了Sardinia的主角

高地花崗岩伴著Sandy, Rocky土壤

加上海風調節與日夜溫差

成熟期更長也就保留更足的酸度和張力
令她多了一份立體感與深度

香氣略帶甜美,卻不流於甜膩

白桃、杏乾、青檸、熟蘋果
交織熱帶果與白花清幽氣息

Jankara成立不過二十年,
已在Sardinia尋得自己的一片樂土,相信還有更多值得期待

也許注定不會是最熱門的品項

但這種不是隨處可尋的…

風土矣!

Vermentino may not be widely consumed, and Sardinia even less so.

Yet Gallura, the island’s only DOCG, consistently produces some of its most serious expressions.

Grown on granite-based, sandy and rocky soils at elevation, with strong diurnal shifts and constant Mediterranean breezes, this Vermentino benefits from extended ripening while retaining freshness and acidity.

The 2019 opens with aromas of white peach, dried apricot and ripe apple, alongside hints of tropical fruit and white flowers. There is a subtle sweetness on the nose, balanced by vibrant acidity on the palate.

Mineral notes are pronounced, carrying through to a saline, sea-breeze finish with touches of Mediterranean herbs and light hazelnut.

The texture is full-bodied yet precise, with good weight but no heaviness.

Freshness and structure are well balanced, giving the wine both approachability and depth.

A confident expression of Gallura Vermentino, showing clarity of terroir and strong varietal definition.
