Deep ruby with garnet hue. Med plus intensity with plenty ripe red fruits and fresh floral notes. Those sweet spice and oaky flavors gave the wine touch of complexity. The palate is much fuller than the 1993, also more fruit driven. Texture is round and smooth while the structure is in great shape. The tannin and the finish is a bit green, perhaps he might need some more time to evolve. 

But he is a handsome and fleshy wine, after an extra hour of bottle breath, he was even fresher, and more alive. He was bouncy and lighter. Yummy and lovely wine!
